Position Functions - Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Find & develop qualified leads (cold calling), then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers. Continuously keep the sales pipeline full with deals at various types and stages, including new (qualified) leads/introductions, mid and late stage sales life cycle targets thru Sales Force program. The ideal sales pipeline will always be full with a wide variety of account types, company sizes, diversified industries, transactional vs. strategic business and services offered.
  2. Report all sales activities into Salesforce and monitor records in system.
  3. Engages prospects and customers to present the company s services, always furthering relationships up the value continuum towards the advisory (value added role). Advocates for both the company and the customer, striving to find win-win solutions that expand and further client relationships.
  4. Performs regular (daily) visits to qualified prospects and customers, in accordance with Managements directives, to drive the business and grow the company revenue, market share and profitability. Builds relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including making presentations.
  5. Conducts monthly/quarterly business reviews with clients.
  6. Self manages various administrative aspects including: Expenses reporting in accordance with the company’s budget and travel policy.
  7. Achieves the annual growth targets (revenue, gross profit, volume) as defined in the sales planner/budget. Must be capable of closing business independently, although management team/corporate support are readily available.
  8. Organize and ensure prompt debtors collection and support Operation in case of payment problem with clients in the area.
  9. Recruit and train sales team members on company systems and tools and monitor the sales team’s performance.
  10. Work closely with company product managers, customer service, key accounts, senior management, directors and stake holders.
  11. To control and maintain Quality Management, Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System effectively in responsible area.
  12. To participate and support activities related to Quality Management, Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System of the DSV.
  13. Perform all other duties as assigned and requested by management.

Position Purpose:

The Sales Manager will report directly to Laemchabang Branch Manager and work closely with respective Bangkok Sales Manager in achieving positive results. Manager will oversee the total Sales Department in Laem Chabang area to ensure that all customers’ requirements are understood and handled in a proper manner. Responsible for day to day sales activity management.
